"I
am not a number, I'm a free man," bellowed the
Prisoner. Greedy sod, he should have been grateful,
because Coventry City striker Paul Williams is remembered
in the tomes of football folly by just a solitary letter.
Yes, one blessed letter.

BBC
FLAUNT WATERSHED IN PORN FILTH...
TUESDAY 6th MAY 2008 |

So
much to talk about from a stunning weekend
of football action.
The Premier League
title .. the Championship relegation battle
.. King Kev admitting Newcastle will never
be a top four side (a great way to get
the supporters believing), but more than
that; much much more, the Women's FA Cup
Final.
You've got to laugh at the BBC. If they
had even half of the live sport they enjoyed
a few years back you wouldn't even see
a sniggering Mark Lawrenson bothering
with his usual arsehole antics. Instead,
given it's about the sum total of live
football that they've got, the birds'
FA Cup Final gets prime Bank Holiday lunchtime
billing on the Beeb.
Now in my mind, that's just pure irresponsibility.
I mean, you can't expect the respectful
folk of this country to be able to digest
a load of sweaty lasses running around
in tight shorts at this hour of the day.
It's perversion gone mad.
And when you're not
staring at the shirt sponsors or praying
that they swap colours at the end, it's
evident enough that the standard is really
pretty good. They'd certainly knock seven
shades out of my mates at the Pig and
Whistle.
Even the keepers can do a job these days.
Not sure about the team names though (Leeds
United and Arsenal). All sounds a little
familiar. What happened to the glory years
of the Doncaster Belles and Red Star Southampton?
Now that's proper erotic stuff.
