Afonso Alves. Linked with a £14
million move to Man City in January, it
baffled us that he didn’t leave
Heerenveen in the summer after bagging
34 goals in 31 matches for them last season.
The current campaign hasn’t
started too badly either for the Brazilian,
as he nabbed seven of the goals in the
recent 9-0 spanking of Heracles.
